AuSable River Campsite is situated on 130 acres of beautifully wooded land along the AuSable River in New York’s Adirondack Park. As a family-owned and family-operated campsite, we are proud of the amenities, facilities and services we offer to campers.
Campsites are available with water, sewer and 30 amp electric hook-ups, both along the river (River Sites) and off-river sites. Additionally, we have “Primitive” camping sites available along the river without water, sewer or electric for those who want more of a “real camping” experience. In addition to 120 campsites, AuSable River Campsite offers campers a convenience store where you can purchase camping equipment and supplies, collectible items and knick-knacks, candy and snacks, ice, firewood and propane. The main office building also has a common room available with a big-screen television and DVD player.
The main camping area offers an in-ground pool, a covered pavilion, separate men’s and women’s bathrooms with shower facilities, a laundry room with pay-per-use washers and dryers, a large playground area, volleyball court, horseshoe pits and day-use picnic areas. There is also a beach and boat launch along the AuSable River for general camper use.
AuSable River Campsite now offers WiFi (Wireless Internet Access) throughout the campgrounds. Your first 5 minutes are free to give you time to check out the connection (usually very strong) and/or to access your email account or any website. After that, campers can purchase the WiFi service access cards from the main office according to the following schedule:
